Akridas family emblem — shield, Pegasus stars, and inscription in Greek

A Blueprint "of Heaven and Earth"

A logo? Something more: A visual narrative, a symbolic journey from sky to earth, from nature to human hands. Each element is intentional, carrying the weight of meaning, our philosophy, our way of honoring a divine gift and the way it ultimately reaches others. Our truth. Our soul.

The Pegasus Constellation

At the top, four stars form the square of the Pegasus constellation. Not an arbitrary aesthetic choice: in the skies of Achaia, Pegasus begins to appear in late May, during fruit setting, and reaches its zenith at harvest time, in autumn, exactly when pomegranates reach full maturity. For us, the sky is a natural measure of time. Harvesting is not about numbers, it is about alignment with ancient rhythms, with nature, with the cosmos. Pegasus itself, mythical, winged, symbolizes inspiration and swiftness. It reflects both the creative blending of varieties and the immediacy of bottling, just minutes after pressing.

The Tower-Shield

Beneath the stars, the tower. Its form draws from the ridgelines of our land Achaia and its Venetian past. Castles and battlements evoke protection. The tower resolves into a shield, enclosing what is most precious: In a world of commodification, quality and authenticity are not given. They must be safeguarded with responsibility, toward both fruit and consumer.

The Crowned Alpha

At the crest, a crown, a shape that comes from the pomegranate itself, as a simple reminder of its uniqueness: by virtue of its nutritional value, it rightfully stands as king.

At the center, the letter Alpha, the initial of the Akridas family. It is also a symbol of origin, of absolute quality, of the highest standard: each fruit is selected by hand, one by one.

Within it, a diamond takes shape: purity and invaluable nutrients, echoing the polyhedral red seed, the aril of the pomegranate.

Beside it, the initials Χ and Γ represent the two generations of the family—Christos and Giorgos. In ancient Greek numerals, Χ stands for 600: approximately the number of seeds in each fruit. Γ stands for three: roughly the kilos required for one liter of juice.

MMXI: 2011, the year we began.

The "Snake-Bird"-Flames

Around the shield, pomegranate blossoms speak to our devotion that extends from cultivation to bottle.

Nearby, flame-like forms appear. Not mystical symbols, but a reference to the great fire of Achaia in 2025, which left our orchards and facilities untouched. A lasting reminder of the gratitude we owe to the rigorous safety and hygiene standards upheld at every stage of our work.

These flames transform into birds at the base, and into snakes at the top.

The birds choose the best from the earth, yet lift their gaze to the sky as they drink. A quiet lesson in humility and gratitude: nature is not a resource, but a gift, pure, generous, offering its best.

The snakes, deeply rooted in Greek symbolism as guardians of sacred knowledge, evoke health, renewal, continuity, and protection.

The Bottom-Line

At the base, the inscription “ΟΙΚΟΓΕΝΕΙΑ ΑΚΡΙΔΑ” (Akridas family), always in Greek: as a statement of origin, a reflection of the land and climate that nurture some of the finest pomegranate varieties in the world.

Overall, the logo preserves a handcrafted character. Its lines are not mechanical, but alive, drawn by hand, like our product itself. Not the perfection of a machine, but the precision of personal care: A product 100% natural, untouched, made, quite simply, of heaven and earth.
